Expansion Foam & Backer Rod

The expansion foam goes around the glass block in a U channel for big windows or walls. The backer rod goes in between the U channel and the glass block on the side. Then you must use expansion caulk to hold in place.
Power Flex Caulk

This caulk comes inmultiple types. You can use it for putting glass blocks together, it comes in an expansion caulk, it comes in a white paintable caulk to use over grid systems, and it comes in a neutral cure for putting glass blocks in a vinyl frame.
Ready-Mix Glass Block Mortar
This mortar comes in a 50lb bag. It is already to go just add water and put in in between the glass block. This mortar only comes in white.
Mortar Necissity Accessories




From left to right: Mortar Trawl, Jointer, Tuck Pointer, Cake Bag, Tile Float.
The trawl is to butter the top of the glass block with mortar. The jointer stripes the joint to give it that smooth intendaion look. The tuck pointer squeezes mortar in between the block. The cake bag is the fastest and easiest way to squirt or squeeze mortar in between the block. The tile float is for the spacer system, if your grouting the block, or even if you just want your exterior joint to have a flush look.

Hollow Core Diamond Drill Bits

GBI offers drill bits for the craft people that want to drill their own holes. The sizes the bits range from 1/8" to 1 1/2". We also offer the service of drilling the holes in the glass block for you.
